Yes, our team will do any dismantling / reassembling needed. Some furniture items such as kit set furniture can be difficult to reassemble and our team will advise you of this prior to starting.
No we don’t. We prefer to keep tight security on our storage facilities. Allowing customers in when there is no manager in attendance would create a number of security risks. We put your security first. If you need access to your items on a regular basis, we would suggest we use a ‘self-storage’ facility which usually allows access from 7am to 5pm, 7 days a week.
To book a move with Ab Fab, we require a deposit of the first two hours charges. Payment of the balance is required on the day of the removal. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard, and cheques. We will set up a direct debit system from your credit card for monthly storage payments.
That depends on the distance you move, what the access is like, how ready you are when we arrive. People often think of the big items when in fact cost is more related to the number of times we go from your house to the truck, so the number of items you have is another factor and people normally have a lot more smaller items than large items.
We have a number of storage options– both on and off-site. Prices are determined by the volume you need to store, accessibility and length of time required. Please discuss your requirements with our Moving Managers in the office.

When our team arrives, the team will briefly discuss a plan of action with you. Let the team know if you have any particular concerns. The team are well trained but will benefit from your specific knowledge of your goods and your property. The removal team will need to have unhindered access to all areas in order to properly load and stay on schedule. Let them know of any items that are not to go (which should be grouped together out of the way). Please also ensure that the team have received any specific instructions, especially if moving items that you particularly treasure or are of a brittle nature? When the removal team have completed loading, please check your property to ensure that nothing has been left behind.
Depending on the storage option you choose, the security will differ. However, storage options at the Ab Fab depot include an on-site manager during our operating hours, outside of these hours, we provide a combination of 24-hour monitoring, security alarms, security patrols and security fencing.
